Privacy policy

Rules for the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ("GDPR"):

1. Biuro Tłumaczeń Midena – Ewa Pająk, address: ul. Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego 48/88 03-982 Warszawa, is the controller of your personal data ("Controller"). You may contact the Controller with regard to your personal data protection via e-mail: biuro@midena.pl or in writing sent to the above address.

2. The Controller operates the website midena.pl ("Website").

3. A user of the Website ("User") consents to the processing of his/her personal data by the Controller under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

4. The User's personal data shall be processed on the basis of Article 6 and other provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

5. The User's personal data is processed in order to:

a. respond to inquiries sent by the User via the contact form or e-mail and to further contact the User regarding the performance of the translation,

b. perform translation.

6. User's data is also processed for the purpose of performance of agreements to which the User is a party, or taking other actions at the request of the User prior to entering into an agreement.

7. User's data shall also be processed when necessary for purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or by a third party (except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring protection of personal data), including in particular:

a. to make tax settlements in accordance with the provisions of Polish tax law;

b. to keep accounts in accordance with the provisions of the Accounting Act and other relevant provisions of Polish law;

c. to enforce receivables in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code and other relevant provisions of Polish law.

8. The Controller processes the User's data such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address, data contained in files submitted for translation.

9. The recipients of User's personal data are as follows:

a. employees, contractors, subcontractors and other persons employed by the Controller or cooperating with the Controller;

b. accounting offices that cooperate with the Controller;

c. entities providing IT services to the Controller, including, in particular, website hosting and e-mail services;

d. entities providing marketing services to the Controller;

e. entities involved in making settlements, including invoicing system providers and banks;

f. postal and courier service providers.

10. The User's personal data will be kept for the period necessary for the purposes of data processing, i.e. for the period of communication with the User, the period necessary for the proper fulfillment of contracts concluded with the User, the period necessary for making tax settlements concerning the User and the legally required period of keeping accounting records.

11. Rights of the User:

a. the right of access to the content of your data and the right to rectify, delete and transfer data.

b. the right to object to the personal data provided voluntarily, the right to withdraw consent to its processing at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal;

c. the right to restrict the processing of data or to delete it completely - the "right to be forgotten."

d. the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.

e. The declaration of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data requires its submission in writing or electronically to the email address: biuro@midena.pl.

12. The midena.pl website uses cookies. Consent to cookies does not mean that User's data will be processed for marketing and sales purposes.

13. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the website User's end device and are intended for use on the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.

14. The entity placing cookies on the website User's end device and accessing them is the website administrator.

15. Cookies are used for the following purposes:

a. Creating statistics that help understand how the website User uses the websites, which allows to improve their structure and content.

b. Maintaining the session of the website User (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page of the site.

c. Determination of the User's profile in order to display tailored material to the User on advertising networks, in particular the Google network.

19. The site uses two main types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until the User logs out, leaves the website or shuts down the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the parameters of the cookies or until they are deleted by the User.

20. Web browsing software (Internet browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on the User's end device by default. Clients of the site can change their settings in this regard. The web browser allows you to delete cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. For details, please refer to the help or documentation of your web browser.

21. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the websites of midena.pl.

22. Cookies may be used by advertising networks, in particular the Google network to display advertisements tailored to the User's use of the site. For this purpose, they may retain information about the User's navigation path or the time they stayed on a particular page.

23. Regarding the information about User preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the User can disable the personalization of advertisements, view and edit the information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
